HCC President Paul Broadie II announced last night that the CSCU Community Colleges and Universities will be coming together and participating in supporting a national moment of silence tomorrow, Thursday, October 8, at 2:00 p.m. for the victims of last week’s Umpqua Community College shootings.  The president is requesting that students, faculty, and staff pause for a moment of silence at 2:00 pm to “remember those who were killed and those who are working tirelessly to pick up the pieces at Umpqua Community College.”
