From the Desk of the Dean of Students

Dear HCC Student.

I applaud you for the effort you put into getting to the place of becoming a student at Housatonic Community College.  When you earn a certificate or associates degree, the applause will become a standing ovation at Commencement.

Continue to invest your efforts in studying, participating in College sponsored activities, mapping your progress by receiving Academic Advising; Register for classes early, and file your FAFSA application before the deadline date.  Hopefully, you will follow these steps and stay on the pathway to accomplish your degree program requirements. Also, remember when you need additional guidance or assistance to seek counseling from the Office of Student Services.

My parting message to you, as I leave to advance professionally, is to continue to pursue your education. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dr. A. Hendrickson
