College Announces “Keep Calm and Study On: Beat the Finals Frenzy” Activities

Students are encouraged to take advantage of ‘”Keep Calm and Study On! Beat the Finals Frenzy!” and the many opportunities for quiet study and relaxation that will be offered on the first floor of Beacon Hall during finals week.

From 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. Thursday, students can enjoy quiet study in the cafeteria, meditation/relaxation with music in the lounge area, healthy snacks and coffee, tea and water at the Hydration Station, expanded computer lab hours, tutoring, and Get Your Stress Out (zumba, bouncy punching bags) in the dance studio.  There are other activities as well – Tom’s Shoes charity feet photo booth, workshop on overcoming anxiety,  a therapy dog, cards with tips on stress reduction for finals, table with Mandalas and stress balls.  Two counselors will be on call to meet needs that arise.
