From May 11 to May 14 in Beacon Hall, students and faculty are holding an event called “Keep Calm and Study On.” This is to help students relax in case they are stressed during the ever-stressful final week.  The event runs from 9:00 a.m until 11:00 p.m for the first three days. On the fourth and final day, the event ends at 5:00 p.m.

The event has a few fun and relaxing activities for students who are feeling stressed during this hectic week. One of those is a punching bag. Some students may feel the need to get some aggression out, and this is the perfect place. For those who need a less violent way to relieve stress, don’t worry, the event also has a coloring station. This is another great way to leave all of those stressful feelings behind.

Some students find communication as the best way to forget about stress. This is also an option at this event. Counselors and tutors are sitting nearby to chat with any student who needs their help. Also, if you get hungry while performing all the activities, you can grab a healthy snack and a quick beverage before leaving.

The event includes a few other items, such as extended computer lab hours and quiet study areas. All of these are designed to help students receive an A on their final exams to start their summer off on the right track.
