Achieving Less Stress at Hubbard Park

Going to Hubbard Park in Meriden can help anyone stress less. It’s a state park that has not only a lake and children’s park, but when you drive up to the top of the mountain you reach the highest point in Connecticut. You can look over what seems like half of the state and point out popular landmarks.  Hubbard Park is well known among hikers and cliff climbers.

There is also a historic Castle Craig up on the mountain, and you can go inside of it. I have gone several times and witnessed the breathtaking view from up there. The road splits near the top of the mountain. If you choose one way, it will lead you to the castle, and if you go the other way, it brings you to a cliff. From this cliff you can look at how far I-95 stretches and look upon the cul-de-sacs. No one can tell where one town ends and another begins. Up there you can leave all of your worries behind.
