Be a Cake God with 7-Up Cake
Finals are coming and grades will be dropping. People are more stressed now than they have ever been before. There has to be something that can take this frustration away. How about 7-Up Cake? Yes, you use the actually 7-Up soda. Are you interested now? Well, here you go:
¾ lb butter (softened)
3 cups of sugar
3 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of lemon extract
¾ cup of 7-Up soda.
Now what you want to do is cream the ¾ lb of butter with the sugar for 20 minutes. Then, add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Next add the flour and the lemon extract into the mixture. Finally, fold in the 7-Up. Once you are done, pour that mixture into a well greased 12 cup Bundt pan or tube pan. Bake the cake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 ¼ hours. If you are an icing lover, you can make a Lemon Glaze for your 7-Up cake. Just mix powdered sugar and lemon juice together and once the cake has cooled off, drizzle the Lemon Glaze over it.
Be the Cake God of your friends, co-workers, and even parents. Perfect your craft and never let them know your secret.
