Recently, as the advisor to Horizons, I gave the staff an assignment to search out the “Hidden Housatonic,” inviting them to inform, surprise, delight, or enlighten readers with a short article about a little-known aspect of HCC.   I asked them to look for the unexpected, the unusual, the unknown, to go beyond the obvious to discover and share something about something at HCC about which many students are probably unaware or misinformed.

In their articles, Horizons reporters introduce us to people, places, classes, events, perspectives, and resources you may not yet know much about.
